Savings Accounts

Regular Share & Special Savings Accounts

Our Regular Share Savings Account is the first account you open when you become a member. You can open additional Savings Accounts for any special savings purposes (insurance, taxes, education, special purchases).

Super Account

Our Super Account is a savings account that allows members to earn high-money market rates, plus have access to funds at any time. The dividend rate is based on existing market conditions and compounded monthly.

Advantage Plus Account

Our Advantage Plus Account is a tiered account offering higher dividend rates to savers who maintain balances of $2,500 or more. A higher dividend rate is accrued at each of the following levels:

  • $2,500 - $9,999
  • $10,000 - $19,999
  • $20,000 - $29,999
  • $30,000 - $49,999
  • $50,000 or more

Money Market Checking Account

This is a tiered account allowing members to earn higher dividend rates than in a regular savings or checking account. A higher rate is accrued at the following levels: $0 - $2,499; $2500 - $9999 and $10,000 or more. The dividend rate is based on existing market conditions and compounded monthly. Free checks are provided! This account requires a minimum opening balance.

The easy way to guarantee you'll have a jolly holiday season. Save as little or as much as you want each pay period and watch it grow. The easy way to make your holiday season special for you and your family.

Vacation Club Account

The special vacation you want begins with a Vacation Club Account. Save the money you want for a personal or family getaway vacation.

Individual Retirement Accounts

Social Security and pension benefits are not intended to provide all of your retirement income. That's why an IRA is so important. You can save money now, take advantage of yearly tax deductions, plus defer taxes on the interest your IRA accumulates. Although there are some restrictions, most members are eligible. Check with KSCCU and your tax advisor.  We offer Traditional, Roth and Educational IRAs along with IRA Certificate Investments to maximize your return.

Share Certificates

This account earns dividends (interest) based on the opening balance and term invested. A Share Certificate allows the members to earn higher dividends on larger amounts of money deposited for a guaranteed amount of time.  Terms range from 90 days to 60 months.  You can start earning more money with a low opening deposit of only $500.
